Job Objective:
The Planning Engineer is responsible for carrying out the planning of the construction projects to which has been assigned by the company and for monitoring their execution. The purpose of this position is to contribute to the achievement of project objectives within the established deadlines, managing the resources made available by the company and ensuring compliance with the processes in accordance with the plan.

Job Objective:

Main Responsabilities:
- Collaborate in the development of detailed plans for each project, defining tasks, milestones and deadlines in conjunction with the technical team and the strategy of senior management.
- Participate in the creation of detailed work programs, allocating resources and establishing priorities and definition of Baseline.
- Contribute to the monitoring and control of the progress of projects compared to what was planned, identifying deviations and proposing corrective actions.
- Collaborate on the generation of daily, weekly, and monthly status reports for the internal team and the client, highlighting achievements and challenges.
- Support in the analysis of progress data to identify areas for improvement and efficiency.
- Participate in coordinating the allocation of resources, including equipment, resources, and personnel, to ensure efficient project execution.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure that deadlines are met.
- Maintain effective communication within the planning team and with other areas involved in projects.
- Identify opportunities to optimize project planning and execution processes.
- Ensure that projects comply with all applicable regulations and standards.
- Provide support to the Planning Manager on specific tasks and projects.
- Creation of WBS dictionaries.
- Perform replanning according to project needs (acceleration/recovery), subject to approval by the Planning Manager and project PM.
- Develop any activity that is related to their area of specialty and/or department, which is instructed by their direct superior.
Requirements:
- Degree in Engineering in Construction Areas.
- Knowledge of project planning tools.
- Knowledge of regulations and standards in the renewable energy sector.
- Microsoft office (Word, Excel y PowerPoint)
- Primavera / Microsoft Project (excluding)
- Power BI (mid-level)
- Up to 3 years of experience in project planning and control, preferably in the renewable energy or construction sector.
- IntermediateEnglish proficiency
- Available to work/live in Calama (shift 5x2)
